This organization works to inspire and enable young people to realize their full potential and contribute to their communities. Through academic assistance, physical activities and wellness, and community fun, the Boys and Girls Clubs aim to a bright future for local kids in need.
Peninsula Family Service
Peninsula Family Service strengthens the community by providing children, families, and older adults the support and tools to realize their full potential and lead healthy, stable lives. They provide education resources for children, financial empowerment and training, and elderly services.
The mission of Samaritan House is to mobilize the resources of our community to help those among us who are in need. The dedicated professional staff and volunteers work together to provide food, access to shelter, healthcare, and a broad range of supportive services. Samaritan House preserves dignity, promotes self sufficiency, and provides hope.
San Mateo County Health Foundation
San Mateo County Health Foundation’s mission is to promote and champion the health and well being of all residents of our community, regardless of ability to pay, primarily through supporting excellence and innovation in the County’s hospital and clinic system.
Taiwanese American’s mission is to connect and promote those who identify with the Taiwanese identity, heritage, or culture through a web portal site. By establishing our niche within the broader Asian Pacific American and mainstream communities, we hope to collectively contribute to the wonderful and diverse mosaic that America represents.
Thich Nhat Hanh Foundation
The Thich Nhat Hanh Foundation works to promote the mindfulness teaching of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. Its mission is to engage in community (Sangha) building in order to spread peace to help suffering people, animals, plants, and the planet.
Make-A-Wish Foundation’s mission is to grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. This wholehearted goal compels them to be creative in exceeding the expectations of every wish kid. Research shows that a wish can give kids the strength to fight against their illness.

Silicon Valley Tsinghua Network
Founded in 1994, the Silicon Valley Tsinghua Network’s mission is to connect local Bay Area Tsinghua alumni and provide them with various resources such as employment and entrepreneurial opportunities. In addition, by attracting high-potential individuals to relocate to the local Bay Area, the Silicon Valley Tsinghua Network is able to develop its local community and achieve outstanding social progress.
University of Chicago School of Medicine
Combining compassionate patient care and groundbreaking medical and biological research, the University of Chicago Medicine and Biological Sciences Division are at the forefront of facing the world’s most pressing medical challenges. $100,000 in support to date has been provided to the Xelay Foundation Scholarship Fund.
University of Chicago Graduate School of Business
Since 1898, the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business has produced ideas and leaders that shape the world of business. Today, they empower bold thinkers and inquisitive minds to dig deeper, discover more, and shape the future. $122,440 in support to date has been provided to support business education.
University of Chicago Francis and Rose Yuen Campus Hong Kong
The University of Chicago Francis and Rose Yuen Campus in Hong Kong is the University of Chicago’s premier location in Asia. With alumni and friend’s support led by University of Chicago Trustee Francis Tin Fan Yuen and his wife, Rose Wai Man Lee Yuen, the Yuen Campus builds upon the University of Chicago’s rich tradition of ambitious research, world-class education and deep institutional collaboration throughout Asia.
The Yuen Campus has become home to hundreds of faculty, graduate and undergraduate students across the entirety of all University of Chicago Schools and Divisions. The campus hosts dozens of academic workshops, conferences, and public lectures each year. Since its inception in 2018, the Yuen Campus has also been a destination for faculty and students of the top-ranked Executive MBA offered by the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, as well as to professionals pursing non-degree Executive Education courses and University of Chicago undergraduate Study Abroad students.
The University of Chicago Francis and Rose Yuen Campus in Hong Kong joins the University’s other Centers in London, Delhi, Beijing, and Paris to facilitate academic collaboration and partnerships around the globe. Through these facilities, the University extends its global presence and engagement to hundreds of programs and initiatives in more than 40 countries on all seven continents.
MIT.nano is an advanced facility at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, open to the entire community of faculty, researchers, and students. A convening space to spark collaboration and cross-pollination, it provides measurement, imaging, and fabrication capabilities that will dramatically advance science and technology in disciplines across the Institute. Over $100,000 in support to date has been provided towards the development of nanotechnology research.
The MIT Museum is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and exhibiting materials that serve as a resource for the study and interpretation of the intellectual, educational, and social history of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and its role in the development of modern science and technology. The Museum stands alone among university museums in its focus on the impact on society of the research, the teaching, and the scientific innovations of its parent institution.
The MIT Museum is preparing to take up residence in the newly imagined MIT Kendall Gateway, where it will occupy more than 58,000 square feet of galleries, classrooms, and state-of-the-art program and performance spaces.
Visitors will encounter a destination for curiosity, exploration, and fun, as well as a venue for conversations and interactions between Cambridge residents, the MIT community, and the companies that have made Kendall Square their home.
The projected opening date for the new Museum is Fall 2022.
