Grant Program
We award general operating grants and targeted program grants to qualifying 501(c)(3) organizations that fall within our areas of interest to encourage Xelay Team Philanthropy, Develop People, and Engage Locally. We will prioritize partner organizations by their alignment to our approach of Empowering Communities, Listening to Empathize, and Providing Feedback. To date, the Xelay Foundation has donated ~ three-quarters of a million dollars across over sixty organizations to fulfill our commitment to contribute back to the community.
Consulting Program
Xelay Foundation offers pro-bono consulting services to potential partner 501(c)(3) organizations. We problem-solve key organizational challenges organizations face, such as long-term strategic planning and operations. These areas are crucial for the growth of nonprofit organizations, however, organizations often lack the funding to do so. Our pro-bono consulting services aim to alleviate some of this gap in the nonprofit sector.
Volunteer Program
Volunteering is always fun, but volunteering with friends is even more fun! We coordinate quarterly volunteer events for Xelay staff to participate as a team. By working in teams, we are able to increase staff bonding, learn about other organizations, and connect with the community.
Match Program
Through Xelay Matching Program, Xelay Acumen team members are able to receive a 1:1 match for any charitable contribution they make! This initiative enables us to collectively make a greater impact and support the various causes our team is passionate about.
Pooled Program
Xelay Foundation matches pooled contributions of Xelay team members. By leveraging the team and support of Xelay Foundation through group giving, we are able to achieve a larger impact for the organizations we support.

Xelay Foundation currently partners with five high schools and sponsors six scholarships across two general areas:
Academic Scholarship
Xelay Foundation Academic Scholarship — a merit-based need-blind scholarship that intends to support college-bound high school seniors who have demonstrated not only academic excellence but empathy and compassion for improving the lives of their local community and community members. In 2023, we granted a total of $12,500 to the following schools:
- Aragon High School, San Mateo, CA
- Burlingame High School, Burlingame, CA
- Carlmont High School, Belmont, CA
- Hillsdale High School, San Mateo, CA
- Springfield High School, Springfield, IL

Tennis Initiative Program
Xelay Foundation is committed to maintaining and improving the health and wellness of our community. Through thoughtful partnerships, we have created an environment wherein the loyal enthusiasts of tennis can grow their game and compete in recreational matches.
