Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA (PHS/SPCA) is a local, private, non-profit charitable organization dedicated to animal welfare. PHS/SPCA adopts fully 100% of the healthy dogs and cats in their care and through their charitably funded Hope Program, makes well and finds homes for thousands of animals who come to them sick, injured, or too young to survive without supportive care.

Social Justice Fund NorthWest

Social Justice Fund’s mission is to foster a more democratic, just, and environmentally sound society by raising and distributing funds to community based organizations that promote social justice in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming, accomplished through fundraising, grant making, and member involvement.


Taiwanese American’s mission is to connect and promote those who identify with the Taiwanese identity, heritage, or culture through a web portal site. By establishing our niche within the broader Asian Pacific American and mainstream communities, we hope to collectively contribute to the wonderful and diverse mosaic that America represents.


Thich Nhat Hanh Foundation

The Thich Nhat Hanh Foundation acts as a conduit between our mindful community (Sangha) and the continuation of Thay’s mindful teachings and loving practice. We work mindfully to continue the work of Thich Nhat Hanh, support our practice centers around the world, and engage in Sangha building in order to foster peace and transform suffering in all people, animals, plants and our planet.


American Indian College Fund

Mission is to increase the number of American Indians who hold college degrees. Every year, we empower more than 4,000 American Indian students to start and stay in school, complete their degrees and launch careers that benefit us all.

The Foundation is committed to bringing together Hillsdale’s parent, alumni and the business communities for the benefit of all students at Hillsdale High School.

Carlmont Academic Foundation

The Carlmont Academic Foundation (CAF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit staffed by a group of parents and community members who volunteer their time to raise money for Carlmont High School. CAF is the only fundraising organization focused on financially supporting academics at our high school.

MIT.nano is an advanced facility at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, open to the entire community of faculty, researchers, and students. A convening space to spark collaboration and cross-pollination, it provides measurement, imaging, and fabrication capabilities that will dramatically advance science and technology in disciplines across the Institute. $41,000 in support to date has been provided towards the development of nanotechnology research.

University of Chicago Graduate School of Business

Since 1898, the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business has produced ideas and leaders that shape the world of business. Today, they empower bold thinkers and inquisitive minds to dig deeper, discover more, and shape the future. $30,000 in support to date has been provided to support business education.

University of Chicago School of Medicine

Combining compassionate patient care and groundbreaking medical and biological research, the University of Chicago Medicine and Biological Sciences Division are at the forefront of facing the world’s most pressing medical challenges. $100,000 in support to date has been provided to the Xelay Foundation Scholarship Fund.

API Chaya

API Chaya supports Asian, South Asian, and Pacific Islander survivors and families impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as human trafficking survivors from all communities. API Chaya engages communities to change societal conditions that enable domestic and sexual violence, human trafficking and all forms of oppression, especially violence against women and the most vulnerable in our society.

AAAJ is a national affiliation of five leading organizations advocating for the civil and human rights of Asian Americans and other underserved communities to promote a fair and equitable society for all. To achieve our mission, we work together—as equal and independent partners under one name, speaking with one unified and powerful voice—to promote justice, empower our communities, bring local and national constituents together, and strengthen our multi-racial democracy.

Asian Health Services

AHS provides health, social, and advocacy services for all regardless of income, insurance status, immigration status, language, or culture. AHS’ approach to wellbeing focuses on “whole patient health,” which is why AHS provides more than primary care services, including mental health, case management, nutrition, and dental care to >50,000 patients in English and >14 Asian languages.

Black Lives Matter

BLM’s mission is to eradicate white supremacy and build local power to intervene in violence inflicted on Black communities by the state and vigilantes. By combating and countering acts of violence, creating space for Black imagination and innovation, and centering Black joy, we are winning immediate improvements in our lives.

Hate Is A Virus is a nonprofit community of mobilizers and amplifiers that exists to dismantle racism and hate.


Homeless Services Center

The Homeless Services Center is dedicated to the coordinated provision of services for homeless persons. The goal of the Homeless Services Center is to provide both emergency and transitional services to homeless individuals and families that will enable our clients to achieve self-sufficiency.

NAACP Legal Defense Fund

Through litigation, advocacy, and public education, LDF seeks structural changes to expand democracy, eliminate disparities, and achieve racial justice in a society that fulfills the promise of equality for all Americans. LDF also defends the gains and protections won over the past 80 years of civil rights struggle and works to improve the quality and diversity of judicial and executive appointments.

National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum

NAPAWF’s mission is to build collective power with AAPI women and girls to gain full agency over our lives, our families, and our communities.

Northwest Community Bail Fund

NCBF’s mission is to ensure that people accused of low-level crimes have an equal opportunity to defend themselves from a position of freedom. We provide cash bail for people who are unable to pay due to poverty and who are charged with crimes in King and Snohomish Counties and have no other holds. We also provide support to navigate the legal process with the aim of reducing pre-trial incarceration and its consequences, reducing the pressure to plead guilty.

Red Canary Song

Red Canary Song is the only grassroots Chinese massage parlor worker coalition in the U.S. There are >9,000 workplaces like these across the country with no political representation, or access to labor rights or collective organizing. Anti-trafficking NGO’s that claim to speak for migrants in sex trades promote increased policing and immigration control, which harms rather than helps migrant sex workers. Red Canary Song also organizes transnationally with Asian sex workers across the diaspora in Toronto, Paris, and Hong Kong.

Stop AAPI Hate

In response to the alarming escalation in xenophobia and bigotry resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, the Asian Pacific Planning and Policy Council (A3PCON), Chinese for Affirmative Action (CAA), and the Asian American Studies Department of San Francisco State University launched the Stop AAPI Hate reporting center on March 19, 2020. The center tracks and responds to incidents of hate, violence, harassment, discrimination, shunning, and child bullying against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States.
