Sharing these animal ambassadors through our Zoo to You outreach program helps educate school children and learners of all ages about conservation, connecting them to the wild world and inspiring them to protect the planet.

MIT.nano is an advanced facility at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, open to the entire community of faculty, researchers, and students. A convening space to spark collaboration and cross-pollination, it provides measurement, imaging, and fabrication capabilities that will dramatically advance science and technology in disciplines across the Institute. $41,000 in support to date has been provided towards the development of nanotechnology research.


National Kidney Foundation

The National Kidney Foundation, a major voluntary nonprofit health organization, is dedicated to preventing kidney and urinary tract diseases, improving the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by kidney disease and increasing the availability of all organs for transplantation.

Teach For America’s mission is to enlist, develop, and mobilize as many as possible of our nation’s most promising future leaders to grow and strengthen the movement for educational equity and excellence.

University of Chicago Graduate School of Business

Since 1898, the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business has produced ideas and leaders that shape the world of business. Today, they empower bold thinkers and inquisitive minds to dig deeper, discover more, and shape the future. $30,000 in support to date has been provided to support business education.

University of Chicago School of Medicine

Combining compassionate patient care and groundbreaking medical and biological research, the University of Chicago Medicine and Biological Sciences Division are at the forefront of facing the world’s most pressing medical challenges. $100,000 in support to date has been provided to the Xelay Foundation Scholarship Fund.



The mission of the Wikimedia Foundation is to empower and engage people around the world to collect and develop educational content under a free license or in the public domain, and to disseminate it effectively and globally.


API Chaya

API Chaya

API Chaya supports Asian, South Asian, and Pacific Islander survivors and families impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as human trafficking survivors from all communities. API Chaya engages communities to change societal conditions that enable domestic and sexual violence, human trafficking and all forms of oppression, especially violence against women and the most vulnerable in our society.


Cambodian Children’s Fund

Cambodian Children’s Fund’s mission is to transform the country’s most impoverished kids into tomorrow’s leaders, by delivering education, family support and community development programs into the heart of Cambodia’s most impoverished communities.


Hope’s Corner

Hope’s Corner provides a free breakfast and bag lunch to hungry people on Saturdays and showers Thursdays & Saturdays at 748 Mercy St., Mountain View.

Peninsula Humane Society

Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA (PHS/SPCA) is a local, private, non-profit charitable organization dedicated to animal welfare. PHS/SPCA adopts fully 100% of the healthy dogs and cats in their care and through their charitably funded Hope Program, makes well and finds homes for thousands of animals who come to them sick, injured, or too young to survive without supportive care.


San Mateo County Health Foundation

San Mateo County Health Foundation’s mission is to promote and champion the health and well being of all residents of our community, regardless of ability to pay, primarily through supporting excellence and innovation in the County’s hospital and clinic system.


Thich Nhat Hanh Foundation

The Thich Nhat Hanh Foundation acts as a conduit between our mindful community (Sangha) and the continuation of Thay’s mindful teachings and loving practice. We work mindfully to continue the work of Thich Nhat Hanh, support our practice centers around the world, and engage in Sangha building in order to foster peace and transform suffering in all people, animals, plants and our planet.
